The main house is located across from a rustic building with five apartments all facing the stunning landscape. A large living area and a kitchenette with a stove, microwave, and refrigerator are included in each apartment. Our favourite of the one-bedroom apartments is number 4, which is on the corner of the building and has a sizable wraparound patio with views of the fields. Book the Two-Bedroom Apartment, which features a patio, two bathrooms, and more if you’re travelling with a larger group.

Hotel Information

Days at Sa Rota d’en Palerm, a family-run finca in vibrant, rural Sineu, are spent lounging by the pool, enjoying the neighbourhood, or gathering towels and swimsuits for the beaches a half-hour away. To spread out and unwind, there are rustic rooms and simple and un-fussy, family-sized apartments.

Sa Rota is a family-friendly resort, and all of the apartments welcome children (but not the double rooms). Baby cots are free for new borns, while additional beds for children aged 3 to 18 are available for a supplement. On demand babysitting is available.

This laid-back, rustic hotel in the centre of Mallorca will win the hearts of frazzled parents whose holiday fantasies include a sun-kissed pool and gardens for their kids to play in. A family-run finca where guests can spread out in their own private apartment, complete with mini kitchenettes for cooking up independent meals.

The lack of a kids club and organised activities is what makes it so appealing. Instead of losing one child to a crèche, another to a kids club, or another to a babysitter, you can spend the entire holiday pottering around here and being together. You can walk, take bike rides, and swim some laps in the sparkling pool. Precious family time.

The (unheated) pool is secluded from the main house and is surrounded by a terrace made of cement and stones with sun loungers and umbrellas. The pool is reached by way of Roman steps. There is also a small grassy area.

The owners have a very friendly dog which everyone will enjoy befriending.

You can borrow highchairs from the hotel, but because meals aren’t served there, you’ll need to restock at the neighbouring store.

The building utilises a photovoltaic system to generate clean, green energy. The hotel is aiming to cut down on its use of plastics and has a recycling programme in place, which helps to maintain energy and water efficiency. Using regional suppliers reduces the hotel’s carbon footprint; even the building materials were sourced locally (bonus: the materials help the traditional architecture blend seamlessly into the surroundings). Native plants that don’t need much irrigation were used to thoughtfully beautify the site (and look gorgeous, to boot).

While there are many of restaurants in the nearby town of Sineu, the hotel doesn’t offer food service. However, you can stock up on groceries at the grocery in Lloret de Vistalegre, which is a 10-minute drive or bike ride away.

Although there isn’t a bar at the hotel, you can browse the collection of Majorcan and Spanish wines and purchase a bottle for your room or apartment.

In 2009, Dan and Hayley exchanged vows in the picturesque Church in Deia, Mallorca. Throughout their journey, they have lived in various parts of the island, immersing themselves in its enchanting landscapes. Ultimately, they settled in Deia in 2016, creating a home for their two children.

Matteo has been connected to the world of music and events since he was a teenager. 

In 1998, Matteo started playing at a club in Palma called Varadero; that’s when he began as a freelance percussionist.

His passion for music motivated his interest in the DJ world and he became a professional and successful DJ, working all over the Balearic Islands. He has worked at venues including Pacha, Titos, BCM, Mood and Anima Beach. He has also worked with large brands such as Canon and BMW, creating a fusion that today continues to evolve to transmit the best energy to the public, the energy of sound.

Working in the event sector for many years, Matteo is a dedicated music producer. Along with his knowledge, passion and creativity, he expertly coordinates and manages outstanding events and shows with staging, lighting, bands, musicians, dancers and unique acts with a great attention to detail, bringing it all together with high quality management skills and a true, genuine passion.

Clare's Bio

Clare grew up in the UK, with strong connections to the Performing Arts and Theatre Industry before choosing a career path in the Travel and Tourism Sector. Throughout those initial years working within the Hotel, Conference and Banqueting division before moving into Management. 

Clare took time out to experience world travel for herself before retraining as an Executive Assistant in the Tech Industry, working for world leaders such as IBM and Pace Micro Technology and being an integral part of the companies Flotation.

Clare then merged industry with high end travel and real estate and moved to the USA where she worked within aviation and yachting

Twenty years ago Clare moved to Palma De Mallorca as VIP Manager for the Island’s largest real estate agency and property developer before launching her own agency located in the prestigious marina of Puerto Portals. Specialising in high end villas, vacations, management, lifestyle and concierge, successfully operating for 14 years.

More recently, opening a new division to the existing business within the wine Industry, sourcing and importing French wines to the Balearics, part of a personal passion project and fitting in perfectly with the current business model of My World VIP.
